7th and 8th Grade Band Supply List

                       

 

HERE IS A LIST OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THE 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR

7th Grade Band:

1. INSTRUMENTS, and a PENCIL FOR THE SECOND DAY OF SCHOOL

2. PERCUSSIONISTS: ALFRED DRUM METHOD BOOK 1 and 2(you should already have book 1 from last year) You also need to purchase the following Mallets: Timpani mallets, Medium hard Yarn mallets, and a pair of Snare Sticks. *** Recently I sent a letter home about this. If you go to family melody they might charge you over 100 dollars for these items which is ENTIRELY too much. You should be spending approximately 40-50 dollars for these mallets(20 dollars each pair) You can find them cheaper at www.music123.com I recommend you purchase the following mallets:

Mike Balter Basic Yarn Mallet(Medium) $16.99

Vic Firth American Custom Timpani Mallet T1 General: $22.99

3. EVERYONE ELSE: Rhythms and Beyond - Timothy Loest ( you should have this book from last year ) , Book 1 of Essential Elements Interactive from 6th Grade and Please Purchase Book 2 of Essential Elements Interactive by November. 

 8th Grade Band:
